Pogoplug is on the shelves at Fry’s Electronics 34 locations across the country. We’ve seen them and can verify that they are on store shelves but we haven’t trained the staff or created any in-store displays yet.
Go to your nearest Fry’s Electronics and snap a picture with your cell phone and email it to contest@pogoplug.com. Be sure to include ‘Fry’s Electronics’ in the subject line, along with the location of the store.
The first 20 submissions will be contacted to receive a gift package. Fry’s Electronics is an awesome store with thousands of cool products, but the floor staff is not yet fully aware of Pogoplug, so finding a pogoplug on the shelf may be tougher than you imagine. It’s our own version of ‘Where’s Waldo’ but maybe even harder.

FWIW – I broke the seal on the box. It was pretty disappointing. I was really looking forward to using this tonight.
You are spot on that the Fry’s staff is not yet aware. Moreover, the product placement is not going to help at all. They have the Pogoplugs tucked into a webcams area way way in back – by the back door to the warehouse. What little traffic there is back there is certainly not customers looking for NAS connectivity.
These really need to be among the routers and or the USB drives. Seagate’s Dockstar is in the HDD area.
